So, my last trip to Hong Kong (which was in August) is still to be written about as the pictures are over 1000. Are you also someone who doesn’t like to procrastinate, but you end up saving the best for the end and that end seldom arrives or arrives pretty late.
This month, I went to Jaipur for two days and I would love to tell you about my experience on my blog. Jaipur is a beautiful city and I have been there before as my father’s best childhood friend stays there. So, I only covered places I couldn’t see in my previous trip. It’s still September and it is still too warm. Thanks to global warming ! Thanks to us.
Nevertheless, I wrote this thought underneath my Instagram’s picture where I was standing near Hawa Mahal.
“Maybe I was just born in the wrong time, but I love all things old school and hopelessly romantic. When I go to a heritage hotel/property, I like frames of people I don’t know, it is beguiling to read the pain and victory and stories in their eyes, it’s enticing to feel their souls still alive. I prefer the secrecy in a relationship. I love love-letters, I love the intricacy of ancient architecture and razed sculptures.
I find my soul here amid the winds blowing.
Shout-out to my travel life that makes me fall in love with my old soul over and over again.“
I felt these words as my keypad blurted them out ! I usually take 3 minutes to think about a four letter caption but these came out in seconds. Wow ! I must be in some mood.
I am not a fan of historic books but heritage places do intrigue me.
Although there are plenty of hotels and beautiful properties in Jaipur City, but I chose vista room’s Mayur Villa. It’s no where situated amid the city and noise. It is surrounded between massive lawns and a beautiful mountain view from the balcony is mesmerizing in the evenings.
Since forever, I wanted to visit Chokhi Dhani and Boy ! I was astonished to see the mini village amid the beautiful city.
I didn’t sleep a night before because of the early train but this place made me glow with joy.
Went to see Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and Amer Fort.
We took an uber back home and trust me ! It was the best travel decision. Uber has been a favorite pick every time!
On our way back, we stopped at Just Desi.
So, this was a short trip to Jaipur,
I will now start working on a blog post to Hong Kong/Macao.
Thanks for reading.
